I’m fascinated by the public policy (arts/culture policy is my gig) implications of this stuff… I’m setting out with a new organization focused on creating the conditions in a city such that “arts and culture thrive.”

We’re already broadening our definition of “the arts,” and it looks like we’re going to have to broaden our definitions of infrastructure, “thrive,” artist, investment, sources of investment…

yikes.
