I&#039;m not the best person to cheerlead for for Second Life, however if you are looking for guides, Try the New Citizens Inc in Kuula Sim.
There you can snag a New Citizen&#039;s welcome pack that has a list of the NCI helpers. Any one of them can give you a tour/show you what&#039;s behind their particular magic curtain.
And they won&#039;t charge you cent. Feel free to send me an IM as well, I don&#039;t charge either. The url I&#039;m leaving here on this comment post points to my own blog - There is a lot there, but on the first few pages you can peruse my &quot;day in the life of&quot; type posting.
Yes SL is a ghost town, but within that wander groups and gatherings of like minded people doing their thing. Most of them have no problem in draggin you along and letting you have a peek into their second life ;)
