How 'bout the line the avuncular Sgt. Landsman uttered to Bunk last night: "We're going to go large Richard on McNulty's case..." I roared. Karen looked quizzical. Me: get it?" Karen: "um...no." I explained. Two minutes later, Bunk spelled out the explanation en passant. It's the kind of tiny moment The Wire delivers every episode. Sadly, only three more to go.
