There are a number of things working in her favor: 1. As you stated the proliferation of media outlets in need of content. 2. She's got talent. 3. You don't need to be much of an insider anymore. Perez Hilton does not hang out with the stars, but he's doing just fine. 4. The barriers to entry are gone - she could do her own TV show on YouTube is she had to, probably get half a dozen sponsors and pocket all the money. Some combination of the above will allow KG to continue to do what she does, and do so profitably. But I don't think she has to worry just yet. In addition to the EW article you mention, she was on Larry King recently and I'm sure she does plenty of stand up gigs around the country. I’m willing to place a bet on Kathy Griffin.
