Consulting
I can be hired to give 3 kinds of advice:
1. Private counsel There's a famous story in the history of marketing. When Douglas Ivester was being groomed to be the CEO of the Coca-Cola Company, he spent several weekends visiting the home-basement office of CMO Sergio Zyman for tutoring sessions on the finer points of marketing. I can give the CEO a short-course on American culture, with an eye to how it can be examined for opportunity and risk. Don't worry about the basement part. I will come to you. Or let's meet in New York City, and use the city as our classroom.
2. Recruiting your CCO I'm hoping this book will prompt corporations to go out and hire a CCO. The question is "who." There are lots of people who know something about American culture, but do they know enough to serve as a CCO? I can help you recruit, vet and hire the right candidate.
3. Stategic Outsourcing your CCO Some corporations will want to get culture intelligence before they have appointed a CCO. I can help. I can put together a small team of people who can give you cultural intelligence on an outsource basis. I have broad contacts in the consulting, corporate and academic world.
